Introduction:

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition is a special-edition smartphone designed for users who enjoy music, videos, gaming, and stylish smartphone designs. It combines a curved AMOLED display, a large battery, a MediaTek Dimensity processor, and JBL-tuned stereo speakers. The special edition also stands out because of its Solar Orange finish and the audio-focused experience associated with the JBL partnership.

One of the main highlights of this smartphone is its 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is designed to deliver vibrant colours, deep blacks, and smooth scrolling. Whether you are watching films, browsing social media, reading articles, or playing games, the large curved screen offers an immersive viewing experience.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, manufactured using a 6nm process. It is designed to handle everyday applications, multitasking, video streaming, and casual gaming. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage in the listed JBL Edition configuration, users have enough memory for many applications, photographs, videos, and games.

Audio is the biggest attraction of this special edition. The smartphone features dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL, along with Hi-Res Audio support. The JBL Edition has also been marketed with a bundled MagPower wireless speaker in its original launch offer. Buyers should confirm whether the external speaker is included in the current offer before ordering, as promotional bundles can change.

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition also features a 50MP rear camera, a 13MP front camera, and a large 6,500mAh battery. Its 45W fast charging support, slim profile, Android 16-based XOS interface, and IP65 rating add to its appeal.

In this article, we cover the Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition price in India, complete specifications, display, processor, cameras, sound quality, battery life, advantages, disadvantages, and whether it is worth buying.

Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition Price in India

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition was initially announced in India at ₹24,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The official Infinix India website currently lists a sale price of ₹31,999 against a regular listed price of ₹44,999. Prices can differ between retailers and promotional periods, so check the final checkout price before purchasing.

The difference between the original launch price and the current official listing makes price comparison especially important. If you find the phone at a discounted price, check the warranty, seller authenticity, and included accessories before placing an order.

Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition Full Specifications

Specifications are based on the official Infinix India product listing. Some details, including promotional accessories, may vary with retailer offers and regional availability.

Design and Build Quality

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition features a distinctive design that helps it stand out from conventional mid-range smartphones. Its Solar Orange colour gives it a bold appearance, while the curved display and slim body contribute to a premium-looking finish.

The phone measures approximately 7.2mm in thickness and weighs around 190 grams, according to the official specifications. This relatively slim profile is notable considering its large 6,500mAh battery. The curved edges also help create a more seamless visual appearance when viewing the screen from the front.

The JBL Edition is intended for users who appreciate both appearance and entertainment features. Its special colour and JBL branding distinguish it from ordinary versions of the Note Edge, although buyers should compare the exact design and included accessories with the regular model before choosing.

The device carries an IP65 rating for dust protection and resistance to water jets under specified test conditions. This can provide additional peace of mind during everyday use, but it does not mean the phone is waterproof or suitable for underwater photography.

Overall, the Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition is an appealing choice for users who want a slim-looking phone with a curved display and a distinctive colour option.

Display Quality and Viewing Experience

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1208 × 2644 pixels. Its 1.5K resolution is designed to provide clear text, detailed images, and vibrant colours for everyday use.

AMOLED technology delivers deep blacks and strong contrast, making it suitable for watching films, viewing photographs, and browsing social media. The curved edges create an immersive appearance, especially when watching full-screen content.

The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. A higher refresh rate can make scrolling and animations appear smoother than on a traditional 60Hz display. Compatible games may also benefit from smoother motion, although the actual frame rate depends on the game and its settings.

Infinix advertises peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. Peak brightness is measured under specific conditions and should not be confused with sustained full-screen brightness during ordinary use. The screen also supports a wide colour gamut and has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

For people who frequently watch videos, read online articles, or browse social media, the display is one of the phone’s strongest features.

Processor and Performance

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. Built on a 6nm process, the processor is designed to balance everyday performance and power efficiency.

The octa-core CPU combines performance-focused Cortex-A78 cores with efficiency-focused Cortex-A55 cores. Its Mali-G610 GPU handles graphics processing for games, videos, and other visually demanding applications.

With 8GB of physical RAM, the smartphone is designed to support multitasking, allowing users to switch between browsers, messaging applications, social platforms, and video applications. The 256GB internal storage provides space for photographs, downloaded videos, games, and documents.

The phone also advertises extended RAM. This feature uses part of the internal storage as virtual memory; it is not equivalent to adding the same amount of physical RAM.

For casual gaming and everyday tasks, the chipset should provide a suitable experience. However, users who prioritise the highest graphics settings in demanding games should compare independent gaming benchmarks before buying.

Overall, the Dimensity 7100 makes the Note Edge JBL Edition a practical choice for general use and entertainment rather than a dedicated flagship gaming phone.

Camera Features and Photography

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition includes a 50MP main rear camera and a 13MP front-facing camera. The rear camera system is designed for everyday photography, while the front camera supports selfies and video calls.

50MP Rear Camera

The 50MP main camera is intended for everyday photographs, including portraits, landscapes, food, buildings, and travel scenes. In good lighting, it can capture detailed images suitable for sharing on social media or storing in a personal photo library.

The camera application includes several advertised modes, such as AI Camera, Portrait, Super Night, Panorama, Pro, Time-Lapse, Slow Motion, and Vlog modes. The availability of particular features may depend on the software version.

The phone does not list a dedicated ultra-wide rear camera in its official specification table. Users who frequently photograph wide landscapes or large groups should keep this limitation in mind.

13MP Front Camera

The 13MP front camera is designed for selfies, video calls, and social media content. It can be suitable for everyday photography, although results will depend on lighting, exposure, and software processing.

Both the front and rear cameras support video recording up to 2K at 30fps according to the official listing. Other available recording modes include 1080p at different frame rates.

Overall, the camera setup is appropriate for ordinary users who want a straightforward photography experience. It may be less suitable for buyers who need multiple specialised rear cameras or advanced optical zoom.

JBL Speakers and Audio Quality

Audio is the main selling point of the Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition. The phone features dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL, with support for Hi-Res Audio and DTS-related audio features.

Stereo speakers can create a more immersive listening experience by delivering sound from both sides of the phone. This is useful when watching films, playing games, listening to music, or viewing videos without headphones.

The JBL tuning is intended to improve the overall sound experience, although actual results depend on the content, volume level, equaliser settings, and listening environment. Users who want deeper bass or louder sound in a room may still prefer a separate Bluetooth speaker.

The special-edition launch package was promoted with a MagPower wireless speaker included at no additional cost. This external speaker is separate from the phone’s built-in JBL-tuned speakers. Since promotional bundles can change, check the current product page and order details to confirm whether the speaker is included.

For buyers who value audio quality, the combination of stereo speakers and the possibility of a bundled external speaker is a major reason to consider this edition.

Battery Life and Charging

The smartphone features a 6,500mAh battery, which is designed to provide extended use for video streaming, web browsing, social media, calls, and gaming.

Actual battery life depends on screen brightness, refresh rate, mobile network conditions, background applications, and gaming time. Users who mostly browse websites and send messages may experience different battery life from those who stream videos or play games for several hours.

The phone supports up to 45W wired fast charging. A compatible charger can reduce charging time compared with slower charging systems, although the actual charging speed depends on battery temperature, charging conditions, and the power adapter.

Reverse wired charging up to 10W is also listed. This feature can allow the phone to supply power to compatible accessories or other devices using the appropriate cable.

Wireless charging is not listed as a supported feature in the official specifications. Buyers who require wireless charging should not assume it is available.

The large battery and 45W charging support make the phone suitable for people who want long usage between charges without carrying a small battery-capacity device.

Software and Connectivity

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition runs Android 16 with Infinix’s XOS 16 interface. The software provides the main Android features alongside Infinix customisations, AI tools, and settings for managing the phone.

The device supports dual Nano-SIM cards and 5G connectivity, along with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB Type-C, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. NFC and an infrared blaster are also listed in the official specifications.

Network-band compatibility and certain features can vary by market and mobile operator. Buyers should confirm that the phone supports the 5G bands used by their network.

The phone also lists Widevine L1 support, which can enable HD streaming in compatible services when the relevant application and subscription support it.

Infinix advertises a one-year warranty on its official product page. Before purchasing, check the warranty terms, service availability, and the manufacturer’s current software-update policy.

Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition vs Regular Note Edge

The JBL Edition focuses on its JBL-tuned stereo speakers, Solar Orange finish, and special-edition audio experience. It was also launched with a promotional MagPower wireless speaker bundle.

The regular Note Edge may be a better value if it is available at a lower price and you do not need the special colour or external speaker offer. Compare the final prices and accessories included with each version before deciding.

Should You Buy the Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition?

The Infinix Note Edge JBL Edition is worth considering if you want a stylish smartphone with a large curved AMOLED display, a substantial battery, and a stronger focus on built-in audio than many ordinary mid-range phones.

Its main advantages are the JBL-tuned stereo speakers, 120Hz display, slim profile, 6,500mAh battery, and 45W charging. The special Solar Orange finish also makes it visually distinctive.

However, the best buying decision depends on the current price. At a lower promotional price, the phone can be attractive for users who watch videos, listen to music, browse websites, and play casual games. At a substantially higher price, compare it with competing phones that may offer faster processors, more versatile cameras, or additional charging features.
